• Motorpoint opens its national call centre

• Motorpoint opens its second site in Burnley

2006

• Motorpoint becomes the first car retailer to sell to every postal area in England
• Motorpoint opens its fifth site in Peterborough

• Motorpoint becomes first car retailer to sell to every postal area in Scotland

• Motorpoint celebrates its 10th anniversary

2010

• Motorpoint becomes first major car retailer to gain Specialist Automotive Finance (SAF) approval

• Motorpoint opens state-of-the-art training facility in Derby

• Motorpoint launches National Apprenticeship Scheme
• Motorpoint opens its sixth site in Chingford

• Mark Carpenter appointed Group CEO

• Motorpoint named the Ultimate Digital Car Supermarket by Auto Trader
• Motorpoint opens its eighth site in Widnes

2015

• Motorpoint opens its ninth site in Birtley

2016

• Motorpoint is listed on the London Stock Exchange
• Motorpoint opens its tenth site in Castleford

2017

• Motorpoint opens its twelfth site in Sheffield

2019

• New Head Office opens in Derby

2020

• Motorpoint opens its thirteenth site in Swansea
• Motorpoint opens its fourteenth site in Teeside
• Launched home delivery service

2021

• Dedicated preparation centre to serve Scotland opens in Motherwell
• Record levels of customer satisfaction as measured by NPS (83 in H2)
• Motorpoint opens its fifteenth site in Manchester (October 2021)
• Customer fully digital finance offering enabled

2022

• Motorpoint opens its sixteenth and seventeenth sites in Maidstone and Portsmouth
• New record levels of customer satisfaction recorded by NPS (84 in H2)

2023

• Opened three new stores in Edinburgh, Coventry and Ipswich
• Motorpoint celebrated its 25th year
• Recognised by the Financial Times as one of Europe’s climate leaders
